Find Common Ground - Creating a Respectful Workplace

Objectives:

Define a respectful workplace and why it matters

Explore the difference between disrespectful and illegal behavior in the workplace

Understand how to deal with it when it happens

Discuss ways to prevent unwanted behavior

Our presenter this month is Carmen Barney with the Idaho Human Rights Commission. 

The Idaho Human Rights Commission (IHRC) is an independent agency established by the Idaho legislature to help protect persons within the state from illegal discrimination. The IHRC also handles complaints under federal law deferred to them by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

Cost: $5 for chapter members, $10 for guests

You must register by 10:00 am MT the day of the event to ensure you receive the Zoom Link on time. The link will be sent in a separate email.  

This session will be submitted for one (1) SHRM and HRCI certification credit.
